• The Ideal Series pays tribute to the artwork of renowned equine artist Orren Mixer (1920-2008). Each hand-painted model is inspired by one of his famed "ideal" horse breed paintings.
• This edition honors the Pinto Horse, a type as diverse as its colorful coat. From gaited saddle horses to spirited mules, the Pinto Horse Association of America showcases the versatility of several unique registration types.
• Commissioned by the PtHA in 2000.
Mixer's Pinto painting is displayed at the Pinto Heritage Museum in Bethany, OK.
