23rd Annual Breyer Fun Day

Hello Breyer Fans,

We are excited to announce that Castle Toys is having their 23rd Annual Breyer Fun Day! It will be held here in-store on Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

This amazing event has horse lovers compete in a diorama-creating contest and a mini-model horse show using their favourite Breyer horses! Besides the friendly competition, we also have a craft table setup for miniature horse painting.

There will be prizes, stablemate painting, and giveaways!

Diorama and Mini Model FAQ

1. How big can I make my Diorama?
   There is generally no size restrictions, but please do not make it too large. Also, your diorama must fit on the table you bring. We request you bring a table roughly the size of a folding TV tray.
   
   
2. Am I making my diorama at the shop and will Castle Toys provide the material?
   No. You will be making the diorama at home; therefore, you will be using your own materials. However, you may add any finishing touches at the shop before the judging commences. Don't forget to give your amazing diorama a name.
   
   
3. What scale or breed should I use?
   There is no specific scale or horse breed - this is personal preference and as long as the diorama fits your table. It is recommended to have some knowledge about the horse(s) used such as breed, type of blood (hot, warm, cod), etc. (this usually impresses the judges).
   
   
4. What is the Mini Model Horse Show?
   There are three categories: Mare, Stallion, and Best Dressed. You can enter any or all of the categories. Showcase your favourite horse. You can paint your horse to make it look more realistic, or dress it up with clothes and accessories.
