The Ideal Series pays homage to the stunning artwork of renowned equine artist Orren Mixer and his famed "ideal" horse breed paintings. In 1991, the Palomino Horse Breeders of America commissioned Mixer to create a painting commemorating the organization's 50th anniversary. Mixer created a gorgeous painting of a proud palomino stallion with the breed's trademark "gold coin" coat color in a lush pastoral background.
